Trust in Our Work: Major Cybersecurity Projects in Q1 2025
Navigating through a maze of cybersecurity challenges, where every turn demands precision and expertise, is what our team does. Digital Jewels Africa Limited has had an exceptional first quarter of 2025, achieving remarkable success in implementing core cybersecurity standards and frameworks for several top African institutions. A hug! These weren’t template-based rollouts or checkbox exercises. They were thorough, multi-layered, high-stakes and strategic implementations. Each project demanded full-spectrum competence and dedication. And we delivered.
PCI-DSS Implementations: We led PCI-DSS implementations for a top-tier Nigerian bank and a well-established ICT company, enabling them to maintain compliance while tightening the security of cardholder data environments. Because our excellence speaks for us, we were referred to a FinTech company in the heart of Lagos Island and prioritized them in carrying out a comprehensive IT audit that helped uncover and remediate risk before attackers could exploit it.
Enterprise-wide ISMS Rollout: For a regional insurance group operating in Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Rwanda, and beyond, we delivered an enterprise-wide Information Security Management System (ISMS) rollout. This was not just a technical implementation but a strategic overhaul of their information security governance – from the boardroom to the branch level.
Integrated Management System (IMS) Implementation: At the Center of Unity, FCT, we united management systems, and implemented a full Integrated Management System (IMS) for a leading payment gateway organization. This comprehensive integration streamlined their operations, enhanced efficiency, and ensured compliance with industry standards.
How About Data Protection and Information Systems Protections? Well, we helped data-centric organizations align with evolving privacy demands through our Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) and Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPC) projects. Beyond data protection, our Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) engagements took us from investment powerhouses in Rwanda to tech-driven firms in Kenya and Lagos, where we ran real-world simulations to identify vulnerabilities that automated scans could not detect. Each manual offensive security process employed reinforced principles we live by.
We capped off the quarter with a Cyber Resilience Assessment for one of Africa’s largest banks, testing and validating their ability to withstand attacks and business disruptions while enhancing their cyber maturity level. Each project highlights our specialized expertise, tight coordination, and absolute clarity in delivery which are our distinctive qualities. These qualities have earned us trust from leaders in various sectors, and even referrals from competitors. In an industry where credibility is earned one project at a time, clients remember who delivers the best results and share that across competitive lines.
We offer rock-solid technical strength, deep regional understanding, relentless focus on business alignment, and the ability to carry a project from concept to completion with zero shortcuts. Our solutions are designed for real-world impact, tailored to each client’s infrastructure.
Across every project in Q1, we aimed to creatively, competently, and profitably add distinctive value to clients. We aimed to secure, assure, enable, empower, and manage their information assets to improve their performance and enhance their competitiveness.
If you’re planning to build, assess, or strengthen your cyber security environment this year, we’re already doing it at scale, under pressure (without compromising integrity and quality of service), and with consistent excellence. Reach out to us, because; We Know, We Care, We Deliver!!
